HX Live (hereinafter referred to as "we") deeply recognizes the importance of your personal information and will make every effort to protect its security and reliability. We are committed to maintaining your trust in us and adhere to the following principles in protecting your personal information: the principle of consistent rights and responsibilities, the principle of clear purposes, the principle of choice and consent, the principle of minimum necessity, the principle of ensuring security, the principle of subject participation, and the principle of openness and transparency. At the same time, HX Live promises that we will take appropriate security protection measures in accordance with industry standards to protect your personal information.
Please read and understand this Privacy Policy carefully before using our products (or services). Once you start using HX Live, it means that you have agreed to all the contents of this policy.
1. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information
Personal information refers to any information recorded electronically or by other means that can identify a specific natural person alone or in combination with other information, or reflect the activities of a specific natural person. In order to provide you with HX Live's short video social and e-commerce shopping services and continuously optimize your experience, we will collect and use your information in the following scenarios:
1. Account Registration and Management: When you register using a mobile phone number or a third-party social account (such as Facebook), we collect your mobile phone number, username, profile picture, and (if you provide it) bio to create your exclusive account and maintain its normal operation.
2. Content Publishing and Interaction: When you use short video recording, live streaming, publish images/text, or engage in liking, commenting, and sharing, we collect the content (videos, images, audio, text) and its metadata that you publish, as well as your interaction records. Please note that content you publish publicly may be seen by other users.
3. E-commerce Shopping Features:
· Placing Orders and Receiving Goods: To complete transactions and delivery, we need you to provide the recipient's name, delivery address, and contact phone number.
· Payment Information: When you make payments through payment platforms such as ABA Bank, ACLEDA Bank, Wing, USDT, etc., we collect information such as payment time, payment amount, and payment channel to confirm the transaction status. We do not directly collect or store highly sensitive information such as your bank card passwords or USDT wallet private keys.
4. Location Services (requires your authorization): When you enable device location functions and use related services (such as viewing local content or nearby products), we collect your location information to provide you with more accurate regionalized content and product recommendations.
5. Device and Log Information: To ensure service security and stable operation, and to improve our products, we automatically collect your device model, operating system version, unique device identifier, IP address, MAC address, as well as your browsing history, search queries, application crash reports, and performance data.
6. Voice Recognition Features: When you use in-app features that require voice recognition, such as voice input, voice search, or live streaming voice chat, we collect and process your voice/audio data. This data is used solely to provide you with real-time speech-to-text recognition services. To enable this functionality, we cooperate with the third-party service provider "Baidu". The voice data you provide after authorization is securely transmitted to Baidu for processing after de-identification. You can stop this data collection at any time by disabling the microphone permission in your device's system settings.
2. How We Share, Transfer, and Publicly Disclose Your Personal Information
We will not share your personal information with any company, organization, or individual without your explicit consent. However, we may share your information under the following circumstances:
· Payment Service Providers: To enable payment functions, we share necessary transaction information (such as order number, amount) with payment platforms like ABA Bank, ACLEDA Bank, Wing, USDT, etc.
· Logistics and Service Providers: To complete product delivery, we share the recipient's name, address, and contact phone number with partnered logistics service providers.
· Voice Recognition Service Provider: As described in Part 1, to enable the voice recognition functionality, we share the processed voice/audio data with our service provider "Baidu". Baidu processes the data only according to our instructions and is contractually obligated not to use it for any other purposes. We recommend that you read Baidu's Privacy Policy to understand how they handle information.
· Content Delivery Network (CDN): To accelerate the transmission of content you publish, we may use CDN service providers to store and distribute your public content.
· Legal and Regulatory Requirements: To respond to requests from Cambodian judicial authorities, regulatory bodies, or other legal processes, we may disclose your information within the limits permitted by law.
We will not transfer your personal information to any company, organization, or individual, nor will we publicly disclose your personal information, except in the event of mergers, acquisitions, or bankruptcy liquidation, where we will require the new holder of your personal information to continue to be bound by this policy.
3. How We Protect and Store Your Personal Information
1. Data Security Measures: We have used security protection measures that comply with industry standards to protect the personal information you provide, preventing data from unauthorized access, public disclosure, use, modification, damage, or loss. For example, all payment transactions are conducted through encrypted channels (e.g., SSL technology).
2. Data Storage Location: Your personal information will be primarily stored on servers within Cambodia. Some data for backup purposes may be stored in cloud facilities in other Southeast Asian regions.
3. Data Storage Period: We retain your information only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, or as required by law. For example, order transaction information is retained for a period after the transaction is completed to meet tax or regulatory requirements. After the retention period expires, we will delete or anonymize your personal information.
4. Your Rights
In accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, we guarantee you the following rights regarding your personal information:
· Access, Correction, and Deletion: You have the right to access, update, or correct your personal information, and you can also request deletion under certain conditions.
· Restriction and Objection to Processing: You have the right to restrict or object to our specific processing activities of your personal information.
· Withdrawal of Consent: You can withdraw the authorization you have given us through "Settings". The withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
· Account Deactivation: You can deactivate your HX Live account via the "Settings - Account Management" path within the app. We will complete the deactivation within a reasonable time after verifying your identity and settling any outstanding rights and obligations.
· Order Management: You can view and manage your order information at any time through "My Orders".
We will accept and process your request within 15 working days of receiving it.
5. How We Handle Minors' Personal Information
We pay special attention to the protection of minors' privacy:
· We do not recommend that minors under the age of 14 use our services independently.
· If we discover that we have collected a minor's personal information without parental consent, we will endeavor to delete the relevant data as soon as possible.
· If a guardian discovers that their minor child has provided us with personal information without consent, please contact us via the contact information at the end of this policy, and we will immediately initiate the deletion procedure.
6. How This Policy Is Updated
To provide you with better service, we may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be notified to you via in-app pop-up prompts, updating the "Last Updated" date, or posting announcements in prominent locations within the app. Please check regularly to learn about our latest privacy protection measures.
